Gary Tiller, Executive Director
Gary joined the Beaches Council on Aging as its first Executive Director in January 2018. Previously, Gary held several sales and marketing roles with ACI Worldwide, Inc. including opening a regional office in Jacksonville in 1987. He retired from Beach Church in Jacksonville Beach in the fall of 2016, where he served as Executive Director of Ministry. Read more about Gary.
Kathryn Latham, President
Kathryn’s grandparents had a tremendous impact on her admiration and respect for seniors. They taught her that hope keeps inspiration alive and perseverance is the pathway. These ideals are the foundation of her commitment to helping others. Read more about Kathryn.
Jack Morison, Treasurer
Jack joined the Beaches Council on Aging in 2018. After joining, he was asked to take over as Treasurer because of his fairly extensive history in accounting. After working for more than 52 years in the transportation industry with five different companies, he retired in 2012 from the Suddath Companies, United Van Lines largest group of agencies. Vicki Wyckoff joined the Beaches Council on Aging board in 2018. Previously, she has held several volunteer positions with Beaches Community Kitchen, Feeding Northeast Florida, St. Vincent's Foundation, Southeast Guide Dogs and the Church of Eleven22. Read more about Vicki.
Henry joined the Beaches Council on Aging in 2015. He retired after 21 years in the US Marine Corps where he worked in the engineer field and taught at the engineer school. Henry also served a tour as a drill instructor at Parris Island and after retiring from the service in 1991, he returned to college. Read more about Henry.
Meet Our Staff
Joanne has been a dedicated dispatcher for Dial-a-Ride since 2000 after retiring from the Baptist Cancer institute in 1998. She is passionate about the seniors and disabled having safe and affordable transportation to keep them independent. Read more about Joanne.
Tyler strongly believes that no senior should have to give up his or her independence. He is committed to driving them to and from their medical and non-medical appointments, as well as working in the office, scheduling rides and keeping things running smoothly. Read more about Tyler.
Jim has been driving for Dial-a-Ride since February of 2017. He retired in 1998 after serving 30 years with the United States Treasury Department. Since retiring, Jim had a strong desire to give back to his community and knew Dial-a-Ride was for him the minute he heard about the opportunity. Read more about Jim.
