Gary Tiller, Executive Director

Gary joined the Beaches Council on Aging as its first Executive Director in January 2018.  Previously, Gary held several sales and marketing roles with ACI Worldwide, Inc. including opening a regional office in Jacksonville in 1987. He retired from Beach Church in Jacksonville Beach in the fall of 2016, where he served as Executive Director of Ministry.

Gary also helped develop the strategy and execution of the 7north project – converting the old Jacksonville Beach Post Office into a 17,000 sq. ft. center serving the greater community, and currently home to BEAM Thrift and a community food bank of Feeding Northeast Florida.

“I have a passion for this growing segment of our population. As a member of the “baby-boomer” generation, I see instances where independence and quality of life issues become very challenging. I am energized to be in this role and to have an impact on the quality of elder care in our beaches communities.”

Gary and his wife Susan love the outdoors, hiking in the Smokey Mountains, and spending time with their two daughters and three grandchildren.
